Bilingual Pediatrician
Description:
Full Time Bilingual Pediatrician needed for Pediatric Clinic in Southeast Nashville. Will also entertain part time applicants if willing to work evenings.
JOB Description:
Ability to communicate in Spanish fluently a must.
Full time salaried position: Includes 4 day work-week which will equate to approximately 32 hours per week. Will also entertain part time applicants if willing to work evenings.
Two work days will be from 8am-5pm, Two work days will be from 1 pm to 8:30pm. Will also be required to work two 1/2 saturday shifts per month (8am-12pm). Salary will reflect willingess to work with a non-traditional schedule.
No hospital rounding required.
Must be able to physically take call (phone only) every 6th week.
Will work with 5 other providers (3 physicians and two Nurse Practitioners)
100% retention rate of all employees since practice opened in 2013.
FORMAL EDUCATION:
All applicants must have graduated from an accredited medical school, completed a residency or fellowship, and be board certified or eligible for board certification. The provider must have a Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited college or university. Current Basic Cardiopulmonary Life Support (BLS) card and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course completion are required.
LICENSURE/REGISTRATION:
All applicants shall have and maintain an unrestricted license to practice medicine.
BOARD CERTIFICATION:
All applicants shall be board certified or board eligible (awaiting opportunity to sit for boards).
EXPERIENCE:
All applicants shall have provided Pediatric services a minimum of 6 months within the past 12 months. The provider must also have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Pediatrics to include residency and fellow time.
No records or convictions involving any form of chemical dependency, previous convictions of felonious nature, or any adverse actions pending by any Board of Pharmacy.
